The first aerial circumnavigation of the globe was completed in 1924 by the United States Army Air Service, marking a landmark achievement in aviation history. The mission lasted 175 days, from April to September 1924, and covered roughly 26,345 miles
Before you embark on this adventure, consider joining our official round the world flying club, The Explorers Guild to earn Aeroconomy dollars along the way!
This epic 80-leg round the world flight achievement will see you visit (land in, along the journey) 26 countries, these include and in order of which you will visit first:
The longest leg is: 908.39nm but the majority have been kept within suitable rang for most small aircraft/helicopters too, the average leg distance is: 271.79nm.
Flying around the world, even virtually is an amazing achievement and brings with it "bragging rights", we are pleased to provide you with a clear plan (airport to airport list) to help you reach this amazing achievement.
You can download the official LittleNavMap plan file here if you wish to visual and follow your journey using LittleNavMap.
We would personally like to thank Jack M for having curated this list of legs and Lithona for painstakenly adding each leg into the FsHub platform (and a few minor leg updates here and there, too).
Have fun out there and we'll see you back in Chicago, soon!
