📖 Where the Story Began

Every life begins somewhere. For Goose, that place was Gibraltar, a small but historic territory standing watch over the entrance to the Mediterranean. Here, beneath the shadow of the Rock of Gibraltar, his story began. Long before military service, before aviation, before family and retirement, there was simply a young boy born into a world that would eventually take him across continents. As the aircraft departs the coastline and climbs over the blue waters of the Mediterranean, it is difficult not to reflect on how none of us know where our own journeys will lead. The child born here could never have known he would one day serve his country, build a family, and leave behind friendships spanning the globe. Yet every great story starts with a first chapter, and for Goose that chapter began here.
