Briefing

Leg 3 — PAFB → PABA Eielson → Barter Island (Kaktovik) Mission: Forward Arctic positioning for northern airspace monitoring.

The Edge of Coverage Barter Island feels like the end of something. The runway sits exposed, surrounded by terrain that offers no cover and no distraction. Beyond it—nothing but Arctic coastline and open airspace. This is where coverage gets thin. And where reaction time becomes critical. You’re not here for comfort. You’re here because this is as far forward as it gets.

Criteria

Depart from PAFB, fly to and land at PABA (332 NM).

You will be awarded AB 500 for completing this achievement.
