The seats aren't.

Passengers settle in behind you.

One has appointments.

Another is visiting family.

Someone has connecting travel farther south.

This is why calling these communities "isolated" can be misleading.

They're connected.

Their connections just have wings.

The aircraft climbs away from Kivalina while the village becomes smaller behind you.

A passenger looks through the window without much interest.

To you, the scenery is spectacular.
