Our virtual airline, US Marine MEU 2024, is for virtual pilots to become a member of the virtual Marine Expeditionary Unit. Our activities include conduct missions such as training, emergency humanitarian missions, ground support missions, drug interdiction, amphibious operations, and Special Operations. Our flight platform is MSFS 2024.. Our missions begin from land bases, or aircraft carriers depending of the type of mission. Our initial aircraft carrier training utilizes the T45C Goshawk We fly the F18 fighter/bomber and F35 for air to air, air to ground, and ground support missions. We fly the MV22 Ospry in support of Marine Expedionary Units at sea or on the ground, We fly Navy UH60's for Search and Rescue including fire fighting missions. Our Main bases are MCAS New River, Camp Lejeune NC and Camp Pendleton CA. We also operate from aircraft carriers, and from expedtionary forward combat bases.
The Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) is part the Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF). The I MEF is based at Camp Pendleton CA. the II MEF is based at Camp Lejeune NC with aviation units Based at MCAS New River NC and MCAS Cherry Point NC. Virtually we support missions of either MEF depending on real world activities when an MEU is deployed for a mission. When the MEU is not deployed on a mission we conduct training missions from land or aboard ship. Our pilots also condict their own missions. Our training keeps our MEU at peak proficiency always ready to deploy anywhere in the world.
We encourage all virtual pilots of any experience level to join US Marine MEU 2024. our current recruitment is for MV22 and UH60R Pilots. F18 and F35 pilots along with KC130 pilots are encouraged to join us.
