Air Caraibes Virtual is based on the real world French Caribbean airline of the same name. The current Air Caraïbes was founded in July 2000 through the merger of various local airlines Air Guadeloupe, Air Martinique, Air Saint Barthélémy, and Air Saint Martin, and was created in response to the air transport needs of the French Caribbean territories. In 2002, the company flew 445,000 passengers and had €68 million in revenues.

With our corporate headquarters at Les Abymes in Guadeloupe in the heart of the Caribbean island chain, we serve 10 destinations in the Caribbean The airline undertakes both Passenger and mixed payload flights (belly cargo) using its current fleet of 14 aircraft including; ATR-72-600, Airbus A330-300 and 900, A350-900 and 1000 airframe types.

Previous types in the fleet were: Airbus A330-200, ATR-42, Boeing 737-300, Cessna 208 Caravan, DHC-6 Twin Otter, Dornier DO228, Embraer ERJ 145, 175 and 190 types.

Additionally Air Caraibes Virtual has several “What-If?” aircraft types available for pilots to fly, these are: A320-NEO, A320-CEO, CRJ-550, B747-8, B777-200ER, B777-300ER.
