Got your bags packed? Good, because the trip begins now! Load up your aircraft and make your way from Westport down to Lake Tekapo to pick up your friends who are waiting to ride along on this adventure.

Lake Tekapo is a stunning lake with vibrant turquoise water in the central part of the South Island of New Zealand. The town of the same name is home to one of the best stargazing sites thanks not only to its distance from nearby big-city lights, but also thanks to the University of Canterbury’s Mount John Observatory, which is situated atop the aptly-named Mount John about 3,375 feet (1029m) above sea level.

Note: This achievement was created in celebration of the Microsoft Flight Simulator World Update XII - New Zealand release, but you may complete the flight in any simulator of your choice!
