Nestled in the emerald embrace of Fiji's main island, Viti Levu, lies Nausori, a town thrumming with a vibrant history as rich and colorful as a Fijian sunset. Straddling the life-giving Rewa River, Nausori has served as a crossroads for centuries, a meeting point where three Fijian provinces, Rewa, Tailevu, and Naitasiri, weave their stories together.

Imagine a time before the 20th century, when grand colonial buildings lined the streets, their architecture whispering tales of a bygone era. Town halls echoed with the lively debates of a young nation, while local courts hummed with the rhythm of justice. Sugar, Fiji's golden bounty, played a pivotal role in Nausori's rise. In 1882, the colossal Nausori mill, the first large-scale sugar mill in all of Fiji, roared to life on the banks of the Rewa.
