Leg 3: LIRE → LIAQ – “Volcanoes & Lakes”

Pratica di Mare (LIRE) to Aeroporto dell’Aquila (LIAQ) Climb eastward over the Apennine foothills, passing Lake Albano (next to Castel Gandolfo) and Lake Nemi. Views of dormant volcano craters and protected nature reserves make this one of the most scenic legs.

Criteria

Depart from LIRE, fly to and land at LIAQ (59 NM).
