Houska Castle, Czech Republic

Unlike most castles, Houska was never built to defend trade routes or borders. According to legend, it was constructed directly above a bottomless pit believed to be an entrance to Hell itself. Stories describe strange creatures emerging from the opening, unexplained screams echoing through the walls, and visitors encountering shadowy figures that vanish without a trace.

Criteria

Depart from LFPG, fly to and land at LKPR (461 NM).
