Leg 11 — EGNR → LFBO Broughton → Toulouse Mission: Carry a high-volume wing shipment from Broughton to Toulouse as Airbus production reaches its final stages.

📖 The Six Whales The BelugaXL program originally envisioned five aircraft.

Airbus eventually decided it needed six.

The reason was simple: resilience and growth.

If production increased—or one aircraft became unavailable—the additional Beluga would provide vital capacity.

The first aircraft had made its maiden flight in July 2018.

After more than 800 hours of flight testing, that same first airframe eventually underwent refurbishment and joined operational service. In June 2024, it became the sixth and final member of the active BelugaXL fleet.

Six enormous white whales.

Moving wings.

Fuselages.

Aircraft structures.

Factory to factory.

Day after day.

And today you're one of them.
