| Remarks: | This was not the first attempt..... nor was it the second attempt.... but the third! Third time lucky isn't something you should be saying with MSFS - we shouldn't be having crashes. The first crash (which wasn't a crash to desktop) happened over Thesaloniki a good two hours in. For some reason my internet kept dropping out which meant my sim kept reverting to online mode, then offline mode. This continued for a bit and my sim eventually completely froze - nothing I could do would get things working. Weirdly it didn't do its usual and spit me out onto my pc's desktop having deciding to just go away - so I had to kill the sim. The second happened a painful four hours in passing Praque - this was your traditional crash to desktop. Considering I'd just purchased Orbx's Prague I decided this might be the culprit hence some tinkering (or deleting) or my rolling cache, content.xml file amongst others. Finally on the third attempt having tweaked the route - I set off again with much trepidation. The nerves wracked up the closer I got to Czech airspace but mercifully the sim gods allowed me to continue to my destination unmolested this time. I should comment on just how nice a flight it was - but this was over shadowed somewhat by the tale of a sim that seems intent on wasting my time. |
