| Remarks: | Well this one began somewhat quietly then ended up in a small amount of organised chaos. Well - quite a large amount ot chaos really. There had been no ATC online the the majority of the journey - but on approach to Belgrade, approach, tower, ground and delivery came online. As it turns out the approach controller was undergoing a rating exam so wanted pilots to test him. Whilst I was receiving approach instructions - planned presumably - an aircraft declared emergency so I was promptly dispatched to hold with other planes. The mayday aircraft was vectored in for approach but went around for a second attempt so I was sent in circles for the next 20 minutes before eventually being vectored in to land. I wasn't expecting the hold but wasn't upset - it all seemed very fun and realistic. |
