| Remarks: | Flight 14 of the UK coastal tour - after coffee ALL OF THE ATC........ had gone... offline. Oh well. So I departed to the east and basically followed the Welsh coast. I loop-e-de-looped around Llandudno which looked gorgeous in the sim before finally heading east for a landing at John Lennon airport. I was really excited about this as the airspaces, VRPs and VFR corridors are very specific. I had done my research and was looking forward to the complex approach as a GA VFR pilot but with no ATC online or really no bugger nearby I could have done what I wanted and the approach ended up being a bit of a let down. I landed without incident and taxied to the GA apron. Fingers crossed the next time I fly I'll have someone online. |
