Welcome to Southern CharterSouthern Charter is a very very casual Virtual Airline, based around a desire to fly where-ever, when-ever and in what-ever you like. The concept was to create an environment for pilots to feel like they belong to a Virtual Airline without the stress of fullfilling minimum hour requirements, and comitting to specific routes.

We operate whatever aircraft we like, flying wherever we want. We don't have many rules, just don't be a *&^% and you'll do well here.
History and backgroundSCX has evolved as a rosy-eyed romantic take on slightly shady transport operations. Watch the movie 'Air America' and you'll get the idea. Our aircraft fleet is best described as 'eclectic', featuring a combination of company owned and leased aircraft stretching from lightweight STOL aircraft, all the way to long-haul freighters. We have a very basic livery, glorious in Monochromatic Black and White. Pilots are encoraged to paint their favourite aircraft, but it is definately not a requirement.. after all; anonymous white aeroplanes were our original livery-of-choice...
More than just an airlineSouthern Charter is a wide ranging charter operation, and not just aircraft. We operate trucks in Europe and the USA, Trains in the USA (so far) and ships all around the world utilising whatever simulation software is best suited to the job at hand.
The team at SCX have flown over 5,000,000 nautical miles, driven over 50,000 miles and sailed over 400,000 Nautical Miles!
