Golden State Aerial Survey Inc GSS

As a pilot for Golden State Aerial Survey, you will fly over California and possibly beyond.

You will take control of GA planes and former military warbirds that have been adapted for this mission and perform photo runs at specified altitudes.

Your precision will be a key asset.

Your missions will include high-altitude mapping/topography, low-altitude agricultural surveillance, medium-altitude urban and infrastructure photography, photography of protected natural areas, coastal photography and hydrographic surveys, and mining/geological reconnaissance.

Depending on your job, you will be required to fly Cessna 170/180/185/206/310, Helio Courier, Piper Aztec, Beechcraft Bonanza / Baron, Aero Commander Shrike, Cessna 310, Cessna 337 Skymaster, PBY Catalina, DC-3, the venerable P-38, B-17, B-25 and so on.
