You will be answering the call (as a standby pilot) from a well-known UK-based airline to fly an aircraft full of snow and ski-seeking holiday makers to their booked ski resort!
You agency has phoned to inform you that they need you desperately at London's Stansted airport as the mid-day flight to Innsbruck has been delayed due to the duty pilots both being stuck south of London in major traffic on the M25 motorway and unlikely to get to the airport for several hours.
Given that Innsbruck requires a special pilot's rating to land there - Boy, we're glad we have you on our books!
