Leg 3 of our 2019 company trip to the F1 Grand Prix in Monza resumed on Saturday with a Lufthansa flight from Copenhagen (EKCH) to Munich (EDDM). After the previous day’s chaos and extended stay in the airport bar, it was a relief to have a flight that didn’t leave at the crack of dawn. With a decent night's sleep behind us, I joined two colleagues for the journey south.

We flew on what I believe was an Airbus A320—a solid and comfortable aircraft for the short haul. For those who haven’t flown with Lufthansa before, I can confirm it’s a very pleasant experience. Clean cabin, professional crew, and a smooth flight made for a much-needed break from the travel disruptions.

While we were still a leg away from our final destination in Milan, this segment brought some calm and order back into the trip—and lifted our spirits for the exciting weekend ahead.
