PHNY, or Lānaʻi Airport is a state-owned public-use airport located three nautical miles southwest of the central business district of Lanai City, in Maui County, Hawaii. Lanai is the sixth-largest of the Hawaiian Islands and the smallest publicly accessible inhabited island in the chain. It is colloquially known as the Pineapple Island because of its past as an island-wide pineapple plantation.

Ellison Onizuka Kona International Airport at Keāhole (PHKO) is the busiest airport on the Island of Hawaiʻi. It is located in Kalaoa, Hawaiʻi County, Hawaiʻi near the town of Kailua-Kona. The airport serves leeward (western) Hawaiʻi island, including the resorts of the North Kona and South Kohala districts. It is one of two international airports serving Hawaiʻi island, the other being Hilo International Airport on the windward side.

Criteria

Depart from PHNY, fly to and land at PHKO (81 NM).

You must use one of the following aircraft:
  • Cessna 152 (C152)
  • Cessna Skyhawk (C172)
  • Cessna Skylane (C182)
