Single achievement

Aotearoa 21 NZWR to NZKT

This is a virtual airline achievement created by Fliggity Air.

Whangarei is the northernmost city in New Zealand and the capital of the Northland Region. Whangārei was traditionally an important location for trade during much of pre-European Maori history, linking the Muriwhenua iwi of the far north, the residents of the Hauraki Gulf islands, and Tamaki Maori iwi to the south. The first Europeans to sight the Whangarei harbour entrance were Captain James Cook and the crew of the Endeavour in 1769.

Your final stop for this trip, Kaitaia is the last major settlement on State Highway 1 and, as of 2022, it is the second largest town in the far north district after Kerikeri.

Directions: The home stretch, and it's an easy one! Take off from Whangarei and fly northwest directly towards Kaitaia. Remember to take in the views!
