South African Airways Light Cargo

This is a virtual airline achievement created by FireFly Air.

This scenario is based on actual South African Airways (SAA) light cargo routes. Specifically, the operation was carried out using a Cessna 208B Grand Caravan (C208B), a versatile and reliable aircraft well-suited for short-haul cargo missions across South Africa's regional network. These flights typically connected smaller towns and cities, providing essential logistics support where larger aircraft would not be practical. The C208B’s rugged design, short takeoff and landing (STOL) capabilities, and efficiency made it an ideal choice for SAA's regional cargo operations, especially on less-developed airfields with minimal infrastructure.
