The sun is just starting to peek over the horizon as we prepare to take off from Baldonnel, embarking on the first leg of our epic recreation of the Flight of the Bremen. Our final destination is the remote coastal town of Lourdes-De-Blanc-Sablon, Canada, but first, we must make our way through a series of breathtaking and challenging stops.
Our first leg takes us to Reykjavik, Iceland, a city of unparalleled beauty and mystique. We're excited to explore the city and soak in all of its unique cultural offerings, from the bustling streets and colorful houses to the steamy geothermal pools that dot the landscape.
From there, we'll be heading further north, making our way to the rugged and awe-inspiring terrain of Nuuk, Greenland. With its towering glaciers, icy fjords, and rugged coastlines, this stop promises to be one of the most unforgettable of our journey.
Next up is Goose Bay, Canada, a remote and sparsely populated region that lies at the very heart of the country. Here, we'll encounter a different kind of beauty, one that's defined by the vast expanses of untouched wilderness and the incredible wildlife that call it home.
Finally, we'll make our way to our ultimate destination, Lourdes-De-Blanc-Sablon, Canada, a quaint and charming town that's known for its stunning natural scenery and its warm and welcoming people.Just before touchdown we head south to overfly Greenly Island - the original landing point of the Bremen back in 1928.
It's been a long and challenging journey, but we're filled with a sense of accomplishment and wonder as we touch down on the runway, ready to take in all that this remarkable place has to offer.
