A quick user survey at the end of December 2021, there has been many updates and improvements to both FsHub and the LRM client this last year but we're looking to get user feedback from you to understand if there are any other features users would like to see improved or how we can improve the service going forwards.

What has been your favourite feature(s) that that have been added to FsHub and LRM client in the last 12 months (you can select more that one) - We know that there have been many other improvements too and may not be listed and if so, please use the "Other" box too!

Dark Mode (LRM Client)

Geo-tagged screenshots (updates to the website to display these are coming this week)

AreoPad (the EFB) - We know we have more improvements to make and these are coming though!

The new live GPS app (that is included in the AeroPad EFB) - Being able to see the plan move real-time is cool!

Ability to play Cabin SoundFX from an iPad or external device (using the new AeroPad/Cabin Manager app)

The new "Aircraft Manager" feature enabling you to set custom sound effects and landing score parameters per aircraft.

The ability to sync charts from FsHub to my local computer/be able to view them in AeroPad (the EFB)

The LRM Client Data Connector - Being able to write your own apps to get data from your aircraft in real-time.

The new "Events" and "Achievements" system in FsHub (eg. The Lapland 2021 event)

The new way to "link" LRM to FsHub - No more having to copy and paste an API token (woohoo!)

Discord Integration (Rich Presence)

The new Discord Server and/or forums.

New logbook filters (being able to filter your FsHub logbook with various filters)

The ability to customise the LRM client with your virtual airline colours and logos etc.

Not at all - I love reading the updates and better helps me understand the new features or future plans. - Please keep update frequency the same!

We understand that these past few months that we have released several new versions of the LRM client and although this has been important for new features we could reduce the number of updates if you feel that we are releasing too many new versions of the LRM client and you are feeling pressured to install them. Please let us know how you feel about installing new updates of the LRM client

I don't mind at all - I'd rather have new features sooner rather than later - Please keep releasing at the same rate!

It makes no difference to me - I'm happy to install new features as the become available!

It doesn't bother me - I have disabled the "Check for updates feature" so I don't get nagged and therefore I just upgrade when I feel like it!

I would prefer that new updates are released once every 3 months - I really don't like installing new updates!

I simply don't install new updates - I just run an old version of LRM client and take the risk that my flights may, at some point stop logging.

As we start to introduce the optional "Flight Achievements" system, please select which best describes your opinion on this new feature

I love it - Having the ability to obtain badges and achievements is fun and I love that there is now "more things" to do in FsHub.

It's ok but I can take it or leave it - I may choose to get some achievements if I'm bored but it's not something that I will actively seek to "chase" or complete!

Completely neutral - I understand that some users will enjoy this but I'm happy to just continue using FsHub as I always have done (I will just use the logbook features)

I'm not happy - I now feel pressured to complete the achievements! (if you do feel like this, please don't - they are entirely optional!)

You guys are going off track - FsHub should be a simple flight tracking platform only - I really don't like the fact that you've added this feature.

Please tell us how you would rate the response time and helpfulness of our support team/how we respond to your support requests.

Responses are slow - dreadful support!

Responses are fast and I'm always happy with the level or support I receive from the team!

In the past we've received requests to add the ability for pilots to "follow" and "chat" with fellow pilots that they have accepted "friend requests" from. I've always been on the fence about this for a number of reasons but wanted to check with you how you would feel if we added the ability to "Add a friend" and be able to instant message them through FsHub/the EFB and/or be able to see updates when they come online, after they complete a flight, when they upload screenshots and when they complete an achievement (a bit like a social feed)? - This feature would have to be enabled by you and would be disabled by default!

I strongly disagree - DO NO ADD THESE FEATURES TO FSHUB AT ALL COSTS!

No - FsHub should be kept simple - adding these features will detract from what FsHub is/tries to be (a simple to use flight tracking platform)

I'd be happy that it was added but only if it was optional (I would have to enable and/or could disable this at any time)

Yes great, I'd love to see updates from my friends in like a Facebook/Instagram like "activity feed" and be able to chat with them through the website and/or the AeroPad EFB).

I think these features should be added to Virtual airlines only - Maybe the virtual airline could have a feed that shows this information for VA flights and pilots only!

I have always said that FsHub aims to be simple to use, lightweight and should "stay out of the way", please let us know if you feel, with the recent updates, if we are detracking away from this

No - Everything is still great, you're doing a great job and I really enjoy all the new features!

Yes - With recent updates, I'm starting to get concerned that FsHub/LRM is turning into a beast - please seriously consider future improvements and features.

Do you feel that any features that have been added this year are pointless, silly or you feel are detracting away from what FsHub is designed to do (IT IS REALLY IMPORTANT THAT YOU LET US KNOW IF YOU FEEL THERE IS)?

(For Virtual Airline Owners/Senior Members ONLY) FsHub was always developed to be unopinionated about how VA's should operate or work (we expected people to use our integration features to integrate into their own website to enable more specialised or specific features) - this is a great example of this: http://www.puffinair.pl/ - this website uses the FsHub API/webhooks and we think it looks and works great! With that said, we have noticed that not many people do and as such we wanted to ask if there you felt FsHub could add any specific new features and functionality for Virtual Airlines specifically. Please let us know if you would like to see additional features or functionality within the Virtual Airlines section of FsHub) and if so, what - These features WILL ONLY be available to virtual airlines.

(For Virtual Airline Owners/Senior members ONLY) Whilst this is only an "idea" at this point - Taking the above question into consideration - If we was to develop a WordPress plugin or set of PHP scripts that could be installed onto your own website/server that uses the FsHub API to send flight reports and give you the ability to customise your site design, setup schedules, manage airframes and other such features whilst still using the same LRM client and managing things through the FsHub website - would this be something you would use?

Yes- This would be amazing - we'd love to use it and would be able to install and manage it ourselves!

Yes - We'd love to but would like you guys to consider hosting the site for us (on our own domain) as we don't have the technical knowledge but love the idea of advanced features for VA specifically and the ability to customise how our site would look.

No - We don't have the technical know-how to install it or host it or wouldn't want to maintain our own server or pay hosting fees to another company.

No - Please don't waste your time - we think any new VA features should be added directly to FsHub,

No - The reason we use FsHub is due to the fact we don't have any hosting overheads and everything is taken care of for us!

No - We love how simple and unopinionated FsHub is for Virtual airline flights - logging VA flights to a "group" is perfect for us, we don't need or want any more features for virtual airlines and therefore see no point in having the ability to have an integrated external website for our VA.

Although we know that the AeroPad (EFB) still requires improvements and they will be coming soon - We wondered if you have tried it out yet?

Yes, I enjoy the features and use it on the majority of my flights.

Yes, I've tried it but I already use another EFB product which I prefer and so I won't be using it.
